New Forest First Aid Training Brings Life-Saving Mini Medics Programme to Local Schools

New Forest First Aid Training is on a mission to empower the next generation with vital life-saving skills through its Mini Medics programme. Designed for children as young as seven, these engaging, interactive sessions provide essential first aid knowledge from calling 999 to performing CPR, in a way that is fun, memorable, and confidence-building.

“It’s not about frightening children, it’s about equipping them with the confidence to act in an emergency,” explained Joe Day and James Osborne, from New Forest First Aid Training. “The skills they learn today could one day save a life, perhaps even yours or mine.”

While the Department for Education now requires schools to teach first aid, delivery is not always practical or hands-on. The Mini Medics programme bridges that gap, ensuring children are equipped with real-life skills they will carry with them forever.

To make the training accessible and free for hundreds of local children, New Forest First Aid Training is inviting support from local businesses, PTAs, community groups, and individuals. Sponsorship could provide an entire school with the chance to learn life-saving skills, creating a generation of young people who are ready, confident, and prepared for anything.

The programme is already reaching schools across Dorset and Hampshire and is available to deliver training to schools throughout the UK.

Be part of the change. Be part of saving lives.
