The Castle Pantry Joins Forces with Lewis Manning to Support the Highcliffe Community

The Castle Pantry Tea Rooms at Highcliffe Castle is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, reinforcing its role as a thriving community hub. To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Lewis Manning retail shop in Highcliffe, The Castle Pantry will host a dedicated pop-up space, selling second-hand trinkets, homeware, and curios on behalf of the charity.

Situated in the heart of Highcliffe, The Castle Pantry has always been more than just a tea room,  it’s a welcoming space for locals and visitors to gather, relax, and connect. Now, in an effort to give back to the community, it is extending its support to Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, a charity dedicated to providing free palliative and end-of-life care across Poole, East Dorset, Purbeck, Bournemouth and West Hampshire.

The permanent pop-up shop, located at the rear of the tea rooms, will feature a selection of unique second-hand items donated to Lewis-Manning. All proceeds from sales will go directly to the charity, helping to fund its essential services for those with life-limiting illnesses.

“This partnership is a natural extension of what The Castle Pantry stands for community, connection, and care. Since launching the pop-up corner in mid-April we’ve raise £216.” said Gui Brandao, Manager at The Castle Pantry. “We are thrilled to support Lewis-Manning and offer our space to help raise funds for such a meaningful cause.”

Lewis Manning’s Highcliffe store has been a vital part of the local retail landscape since its opening last year, offering quality second-hand goods while generating much-needed funds for the hospice’s services. This collaboration with The Castle Pantry marks an exciting milestone in its ongoing mission to engage with the community.

“We’re delighted to be working with The Castle Pantry,” said Susan Newcombe, Director of Retail at Lewis Manning Hospice Care. “Their generosity in hosting this pop-up will not only provide a new way for people to support our work but also reinforce the incredible sense of community that Highcliffe is known for.”

The pop-up shop will be open during The Castle Pantry’s regular business hours, inviting customers to enjoy a coffee and a slice of cake while browsing a range of unique treasures, all for a great cause.
