Spreading Joy: Saffery Bournemouth’s Christmas Initiative
For the second year in a row staff at Saffery in Bournemouth have swapped their usual festive ‘Secret Santa’ initiative and instead decided to make a difference by gifting presents for local children who are less fortunate. The business has also donated to Dorset based charity, Prama Care.
Over 40 members of the team have donated brand new gifts that will be distributed by the local council to children in the community who wouldn’t normally get a present at Christmas.
Partner Hannah Mazrae said, “It’s a wonderful gesture from our staff who recognise that the spirit of Christmas is about giving and supporting our local community.
“Saffery Bournemouth have also made a cash donation to PramaCare, a charity which supports independent living, allowing their clients to live with dignity in the comfort of their own homes. The decision to donate was made in lieu of purchasing advent calendars for staff in our office, a decision that was very much welcomed by all. It’s good to be able to give back to the community.”
