Saffery launch mixed netball team!
The Bournemouth office of Saffery LLP has joined a mixed netball league, with weekly matches taking place at Broadstone Middle School.
There are 17 squad members and a team of 7 meet every Monday and enjoy competitive games with the other 5 teams in the league.
Captain, Director of Personal Tax Collette Parry said, “It’s brilliant to have a mixed team with representatives from across all departments and all ages, including trainees to partners. I’m so pleased at having such a large training squad with enthusiasm to make the 7-player match squad. It’s been great for team spirit and morale and we’ve loving the challenge. Everyone is buzzing after each match and team spirit spills over into the workplace. The standard of netball within the league is really good and whilst it’s competitive between the teams, there’s also much fun had.
“Each week the player of the match is decided by the opposition and so far it’s always been one of the men!
“We have branded bibs and drinks bottles, it’s great to be promoting our new Saffery branding
“Three of our partners have pledged to play in at least one game in the lead up to Christmas, with others agreeing to come along to watch and support.”
