A huge, brand-new outdoor screen has been installed on Bournemouth Pier, coinciding with the pier’s busiest season of the year. The screen is an impressive 8.88m tall x 2.88m wide and is prominently positioned on top of the front of RockReef adventure climbing attraction, part way down the pier where it can be clearly seen from the beach and surrounding area.
MD Sarah Hunter advised, “We’re keen to let businesses know about this brilliant and unique opportunity to get exposure of their brand to millions on the beach, with visibility too from the road and cliff tops, and in time for the Bournemouth Air Festival which had over 600,000 people attending last year!
“During normal operating hours adverts will be seen at least 150 times per day and we’re offering the first advertisers the opportunity to be featured in the new promo film and marketing materials for the LED screen and on the Bournemouth Pier website.
“We’ve specifically focused on increasing dwell time of those looking at the screen with the value of entertainment and have embedded micro storytelling which will be delivered, with the introduction of ‘Bomo & friends.’ The animated characters will provide entertainment between paid adverts.
There is also instant redirection from the screen to mobiles, via QR: to drive visitors to the advertiser’s site or to the new Bomo website portal that links from the screen and offers additional services for those using the area, such as: Local News and Weather updates, Competitions, Kids beach games, Special offers and more.
