Barker continues support for Bournemouth Rugby Club for the 12th consecutive year, during their 2022/2023 season
Dorset based Barker, the largest domestic laundry in the UK and a leading specialists Dry Cleaner, has shown its commitment and support to Bournemouth Rugby Club and has renewed its sponsorship of the club for the 12th consecutive year.
MD Matthew Barker advised, “It is a real honour to be able to continue to support Bournemouth Rugby, a club that plays a key part in the local communities that it serves. It has a thriving Youth section, a very successful Senior Women’s team and a newly launched all female coaching squad in the Youth Girl’s section.
“We’re very much looking forward to seeing the Men’s Senior squad back in action in the Region One South Central league, as the new season starts.

Established in 1893, Bournemouth Rugby operates four Senior Teams, Academy/Colts, Ladies, U6 – U15 Youth and Mini, Girls, Adult and Youth Wheelchair and Social Touch Rugby with a thriving membership of around 1,000.
Bournemouth’s 1st XV play in the Region One South Central League, a level five league in the English rugby union system.
Bournemouth Rugby host a Youth and Mini Festival each year which takes place during a weekend in the Easter holidays. In 2023 it will take place on 15th & 16th April.
They welcome around 160 teams over two days, with approximately 3,000 attending.
There are also plans to host a separate girls specific festival in 2023. Dates to be confirmed.
