Sep 27, 2019

Mapperton Estate’s Montagu Cuvée sparking wine was announced as the winner of the Saffery Champness sponsored ‘Best Drinks Product’ Category at this week’s Dorset Magazine Food, Drink & Farming Awards.  The prestigious awards took place at The Italian villa at Compton Acres in Poole. Other business shortlisted as finalists in the popular award category were BH1 Gin and The Dorset Ginger Company.

Saffery Partner Roger Wareham advised, “We are incredibly proud to have sponsored these awards and in particular this category as it’s a sector that we have a particular specialism in.  Dorset has become a recognised hub for its food and drink entrepreneurs to launch their exciting new ventures.  Competition in the ‘best drinks’ category has been very stiff but we were delighted to present this award to Mapperton Estates.”

Lou Lou Brown, Café & Venue Manager at Mapperton Estates enthused, “We are thrilled to accept this prize on behalf of the Earl and Countess of Sandwich.  We are delighted to have received this recognition and are feeling extremely proud!”
