Top 20 accountancy firm Saffery Champness Chartered Accountants has today announced that Jamie Lane will join the firm as a Partner, based in its Bournemouth Office, with effect from 3rd June.
Jamie joins from Smith & Williamson’s Southampton Office, where he spent 15 years, latterly as a partner, supporting entrepreneurs in a wide range of sectors including marine, recruitment, renewable energy and professional practices.
Commenting Jamie advised, “I am thrilled to be joining Safferys. I have always been aware of their team through our mutual engagement with Nexia International and have been impressed by everyone, especially the Firm’s reputation in the business community. They are hugely well respected and I am genuinely very happy to have this opportunity.
“I am looking forward to becoming a trusted advisor to my new clients and will be providing audit, transactional support and business advice to complement the skills of the existing team. Having developed the transaction support offering locally in my previous role, I am looking forward to continuing this particular specialism supporting clients with their ambitions to grow and ultimately realise value in their businesses, whether that be through mergers and acquisitions or assisting entrepreneurs through the myriad of scale up challenges. I enjoy helping clients navigate the challenges of growth, being a part of their journey and enabling them to fulfil their potential.”
Senior Partner Nick Fernyhough commented, “We are delighted to welcome Jamie to our growing team. As a business we are enjoying exceptional growth and continually bringing on board new entrepreneurial talent as clients. We have a niche for supporting entrepreneurs and fast- growing owner managed businesses and Jamie will be an integral part of that team. His depth of experience and knowledge will provide a huge boost to the excellent corporate support that we offer our clients.”
