Key West Bar & Grill on Bournemouth Pier has launched a new summer menu, with an American twist, which is impressing locals and visitors alike!
Key West’s General Manager advised, “We are super proud of our summer menu. I’ve previously worked in Florida and have always been keen that our menu offers similar styles of dishes to those that are served in Key West restaurants and reflect the Floridian influences.
“Proving popular with diners is our new ‘Fat Boy Burger’ – our house cheeseburger with bacon, topped with a stack of BBQ pulled pork and served with chips and house slaw. The ‘Wicked Tuna Burger’ is going down a treat as is our ‘Whole Hog Pizza’ which includes BBQ pulled pork, bacon, ham and mozzarella cheese. We’ve increased our vegetarian and vegan options too to ensure that there is something for all palates and tastes.
“We’ve kept some American themed dishes which we’ve previously offered, which diners particularly enjoy. An example being the Coconut & Chilli Crab Cakes, home-made, of course, on site on the Pier. This is an iconic Florida dish which we offer with a modern twist of fresh mango salsa on the side. We’ve also kept old favourites such as cod & chips and Key West’s legendary fish platter. I would urge visitors and locals to pop along and pay a visit. Whether it be to enjoy a delicious breakfast or a daytime or early evening meal, you won’t be disappointed!”
Diners can pre-book to ensure that their table is guaranteed for their visit. Full menu options and opening hours can be viewed on the website www.keywestbournemouth.co.uk
