The Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Centre in Verwood hosted the Dorset Tourism Awards (DTA) sponsors and former winners’ lunch. Guests were treated to a tour of the award- winning farm centre and were wowed by all that they saw and heard.
DTA headline sponsors, Saffery Champness Chartered Accountants attended and Partner Nick Fernyhough advised, “What a unique venue this is. It’s easy to understand why the Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Centre were previous winners of the Dorset Tourism Award’s Small Attraction category. They are certainly an outstanding visitor attraction in Dorset. Even after 5 years of Safferys sponsoring the Dorset Tourism Awards, we are still finding new attractions and businesses who are keen to get involved.”
The Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Centre is a family run business and farm manager Taya Street enthused, “We’ve really enjoyed hosting everybody today, it’s been an excellent opportunity to showcase our fabulous farm which, as a family we’ve worked hard to build up over the last 15 years. Our aim is to create a balance between education and a fun family day out.”
