New American-influenced menu launched at Key West Bar & Grill on Bournemouth Pier!
Key West Bar & Grill on Bournemouth Pier has launched an exciting new American-influenced menu which is going down a storm in the winter weeks!
Key West’s General Manager advised, “We are super proud of our new menu which we put a lot of thought in to before launching. I’ve previously worked in Florida and was keen that the new menu offered similar styles of dishes to those that are actually served in Key West restaurants and reflect the Floridian influences.
“Proving particularly popular are the Coconut & Chilli Crab Cakes, home-made, of course, on site on the Pier. This is an iconic Florida dish which we offer with a slightly modern twist of a fresh mango salsa on the side.
“Treat yourselves to Buffalo Chicken Tenders, served with celery sticks and home-made blue cheese sauce, or perhaps pan-fried Garlic & Lime Tiger Prawns. Fancy a mix of sweet & savoury, then you’ll love the Maple Chicken Canadian stack – chargrilled chicken breast topped with crispy bacon, creamy brie and then grilled with maple syrup. Our cocktail drinks menu includes classic American drinks such as the Mojito, Mai Tai and Alabama Slammer.”
The popular ‘end of the pier’ restaurant has kept old favourites such as cod & chips, Key West’s fish platter and pizzas. He concluded, “Key West is all things to all people. For some it’s the place to enjoy a delicious breakfast, for others it’s the perfect day time or early evening dining venue.
“The extensive menu is proving hugely popular and is ensuring that Key West is a popular beach-side dining option, not just with holiday makers but locals too. Amongst other items, the menu also includes baked baguettes, jacket potatoes and a range of childrens’ meals.”
