Jul 19, 2018

Bournemouth Coastal Business Improvement District (BID) and apprenticeship training provider, Paragon Skills will be working together to host and co-sponsor Boscombe’s brand new vehicle festival, ‘Motors By The Sea’.  It takes place from 14th to 16th September 2018.

The Festival aims to bring the local community together and promises to deliver a spectacle for all car enthusiasts, whilst supporting the local business community and promoting Boscombe’s lively and bohemian atmosphere.

Taking place at Boscombe Precinct, ‘Motors By the Sea’ Festival will showcase exciting exhibits to wow visitors. The event will also give local motoring fans a platform from which to show their talents, network and gain knowledge from collectors and industry experts alike.

Headline sponsor, Paragon Skills, will hold a sub-event as part of the ‘Motors by the Sea’ Festival at their Bournemouth Technical Centre on Ashley Road. Taking place on 15th September, the event will feature a number of their employer-partners from the automotive sector who will be showcasing their motors and specific areas of expertise.

Paul Clarke, Bournemouth Coastal BID Chairman and Cluster Manager Hallmark Bournemouth Hotels, advised, “Bournemouth Coastal BID and Boscombe’s business community are delighted to be supporting this inaugural festival. With the involvement of strong local partners, like Paragon Skills, we hope the first Motors By The Sea festival will be a fun weekend for the local community, bringing more visitors into Boscombe and increasing footfall.”

Sarah Galli of Paragon Skills added, “We are extremely excited to be involved with this new festival. The Motors By The Sea festival will give us a great opportunity to showcase our modern facilities to young people considering apprenticeships. As part of the festival, Paragon Skills will provide interesting sessions about careers in motoring and engineering and showing the work of our employer partners from the automotive industry. We hope to see many car enthusiasts and people from the wider conurbation of Bournemouth at our event.”

If you own a unique sports, GT, classic, custom or race car or motorbike and would like to display it at the festival, the organisers would like to hear from you.  Please email Dominique Wallace for an exhibitor form: hello@dominiquewallace.co.uk
